If you fly on a Canadian airline be aware that the company delivers Cuban Touristic cards for free on the flight You can change money at the airport, the arrival level exchange bureau is located outside the terminal on your left hand side, just in front of the taxi stand. If the queue is big, go upstairs to the departure level exchange bureau.

The official cabs are yellow with a black checker pattern on the sides. The fixed price to go from the airport to the city centre is 25 CUC. You can get money from the numerous cash machines located throughout the city using a a Visa or Mastercard debit card. Avoid the isolated cash machines not being part of a bank.
